About the practice
Vitality is a private psychotherapy practice dedicated to helping people create more meaningful, balanced, and fulfilling lives. Care is tailored to your personality, goals, experiences, and needs — never a one-size-fits-all method.
We combine evidence-based approaches with empathy, collaboration, and honest insight. The aim is not only to manage symptoms, but to deepen self-awareness, resilience, purpose, and lasting well-being.

“Therapy should be a place where you feel understood — and encouraged to grow.”

A moment for yourself
Three simple reflections you can use today. Future worksheets and guides will build on this starting library.
60-second reset
Pause and name three things: the feeling, the thought beneath it, and what your body needs next.
Try completing this sentence without correcting yourself: “Right now I notice…, I am telling myself…, and one kind next step could be…” Naming an experience can create a little space around it.
Journal prompt
Think of a recent difficult moment. What happened just before your reaction began?
Write down the situation, your first interpretation, your emotional response, and what you did next. Look for the part that repeats. Curiosity is more useful here than judgment.
Values check-in
Pick one value you want your next decision to reflect — connection, courage, rest, honesty, or growth.
Ask: “If I moved one percent closer to this value today, what would I do?” Make the answer small enough to begin within ten minutes.
These reflections are educational and are not a substitute for therapy, diagnosis, or emergency care.
I came in feeling stuck in the same patterns. The space here is calm, non-judgmental, and genuinely helpful. I leave each session with one small thing I can actually try.

Individual therapy
We were nervous about couples work, but the sessions feel structured without being forced. We are finally hearing each other instead of just defending our positions.

Couples counseling
For the first time I understand my anxiety instead of just fighting it. The tools are practical, and the pace never feels rushed.

Common questions
These answers reflect the practice’s current plans and will be finalized as it launches.
Vitality is being developed as a private-pay practice. Fees and any out-of-network options will be confirmed during your consultation before you commit to care.
It is a brief, no-pressure conversation to hear what brings you to therapy, understand your goals, and consider whether the practice feels like the right fit.
It means your therapist can draw from several evidence-based approaches rather than applying one method to everyone. The work is shaped around your needs, personality, and goals.
Couples counseling and family therapy are among the planned services. Availability and therapist fit can be discussed during an initial consultation.
The office is at 16 East 40th Street, Suite 1001, in Midtown Manhattan. Session format and availability will be confirmed when scheduling.

A confidential first conversation
Reach out for a brief consultation about what is bringing you to therapy and whether working together may feel right. There is no obligation — only a clear first step.
